i think Jonas is dying for now but still alive because it could have been from far away that he heard music. if Jonas goes to look for help or more ways to survive he could be alive. Michael Ruiz 8C
I think that Jonas is dead becuase while dying slowly and walking in the middle of no where. He randomly saw a sled that was quote"Waiting" for him at the top of the hill. Then when he went down the hill he saw a window. NO HOUSE!!! just a window. So yes i think he's dead.

i think Jonas is alive even if he hears singing in the place he is and from his community that may be a sign he is dead it is impossible Gabriel is still with Jonas if Gabe is still with Jonas he is still alive i believe Jonas is still alive and may get to Elsewhere on time.

To tell you the truth.. Jonas is dead. This is because at the end of the book its saying how hes losing his strength getting to the sled, and when he is on the sled going down with Gabriel, his mind is fading away and he hears voices in the distance. Or it was only an echo.

i think tht jonas is dead. the reason i say this is because it was saying how he was dieing slowly . and i dont think he could of mad it with out eatting for so long.he was losing everything while him and Gabriel was sleding down the hill .. So Jonas is dead !
